The short version
- Top six: Bouncy Bob, Mechanic Girl Zoey, Neon Wizard Samuel, Steelman Cole, Scrap Vulture Oliver and Machine Butcher Silas all come out SS overall. Bob and Zoey are the most consistent — every list rates them S or higher.
- Most disputed: Rex and Phantom Flame Riker swing the most — one list puts each at SS while others put them at A or B. Treat Rex as a strong main damage dealer in the right team rather than a universal top pick. Silas is also split: SS in three lists, A in one.
- Not worth chasing yet: newer crew such as Skadi, Mia and Professor Ray are rated C to A, mostly B or lower.

How the overall tier is calculated
- 1Each list's rating is turned into points: SS = 4, S = 3, A = 2, B = 1, C = 0.
- 2We average the points across the lists that rate that hero (lists that skip a hero aren't counted as zero).
- 3Overall tier from the average: 3.5+ = SS, 2.5+ = S, 1.5+ = A, 0.5+ = B, below that C.
- 4Agreement is how far apart the highest and lowest ratings are: within one tier = High, two tiers = Medium, three or more = Low.
- 5Heroes rated by fewer than three lists are listed separately below the table, because two opinions aren't enough to rank them.
The lists we combined
Only tier lists for the Japanese version, published after launch by people who played it. We left out:
- a tier list published before launch, which its author says will be redone after playing;
- lists based on the Chinese and Taiwanese servers, which launched earlier and have crew the Japanese/international version doesn't have yet (see below).
| # | List | Date | Note |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | ポケモナンザ / GameUpX link link | 2026-09-02 | Two sites publish an identical list, counted once |
| 2 | あひるのゲーム部屋 link | 2026-09-03 | — |
| 3 | ぺくおゲームズ link | 2026-09-02 | Rates only 5 crew |

What the Chinese and Taiwanese servers rate highly: The game launched earlier in Chinese-speaking regions, and their tier lists are topped by crew that haven't reached this version yet — for example 蘭博 (Rambo), 北境大帝 and 大嘴山姆, with 雷教授 (likely Professor Ray here) as a top pick. Names don't map one-to-one between regions, so we don't merge those ratings; they're a hint of who may be worth saving for when new crew arrive.
