What Endless Sky Is
Endless Sky is a free, open-source space trading and combat game in the style of Escape Velocity: you start with a small ship and a mortgage, take jobs, trade, fight and upgrade your fleet across a large galaxy. The code and data are on GitHub under the GPL-3.0 license.
Because it's open source, the numbers on these pages come straight from its data files and code — including formulas the game doesn't show you, like exactly how jobs are paid.

- Engines, power, shields and cooling — output per space for every non-weapon outfit.
- Licenses — which ships need which license, and how to get it.
