01
Wands
Damage per zap at +0 and what each upgrade adds (min / max). Utility wands don't deal direct damage. From v4.0.1.
- Every wand starts with 2 charges (Magic Missile has 3), gains +1 per upgrade, and caps at 10.
- Charges come back one at a time, and faster the emptier the wand is: each charge takes 10 + 40 × 0.875missing charges turns — about 45 turns with 1 charge missing, 36.8 with 3 missing and 20.5 with 10 missing. A Ring of Energy speeds this up.
- Damage and effects scale with the wand's level, so upgrades on a wand you use a lot pay off twice: more damage per zap and more charges.

Rings
Rings give their bonus in steps. A ring's step count is its level + 1, so even a +0 ring gives one step, and each upgrade adds another. Wearing two of the same ring adds their steps together.
