Every Religion Belief

All 56 beliefs — pantheon, founder, follower and enhancer — read straight from Unciv's data.

01

Conclusion

Religion in Unciv is built from 56 beliefs in four kinds: 22 pantheon, 9 founder, 16 follower and 9 enhancer beliefs. You pick a pantheon first, then founder and follower beliefs when you found a religion, and an enhancer when you enhance it.

Each belief can only be taken by one civilization, so popular picks go early. Byzantium's ability adds one extra belief of any type when founding a religion.

FAQ

Which pantheon is best?

It depends on your land: many pantheons boost a specific terrain, resource or building. Look at what's around your capital before picking.

Can two civs share a belief?

No — once a civilization takes a belief, others can't choose it.

Do I need religion to win?

No, but faith also buys great people and units in later eras through some policies.
